Boonton Area Nursery School is a state licensed pre-school facility which serves the Boonton area community in continuous September-June operation since 1963. Classes are offered for 21/2-, 3- and 4-year-old children with goals of developing social, academic, and kindergarten readiness skills. Teachers are certified and keep abreast of current educational issues.

Creativity, challenge and fun are included in the daily plans of a typical pre-school day. These objectives are met by a curriculum designed by the director of the school.

The 21/2 year-old class uses multisensory age-appropriate activities structured around a central theme. Planned theme play along with regular play will help children learn about specific topics.

3-year-olds develop a joy of learning through play, hands-on lessons, music and arts and crafts.

The 4-year-old program combines math, science and language skills to help aid the learning process. Show and tell, dramatic plays and field trips are added features.

Art class is offered after school as an enrichment experience.

The school boasts an outdoor play facility which includes a climbing apparatus and a large area for bikes and trikes to help develop large motor skills.
